The work is conceived as a device to convey and liberate “all the evils of the world”. Taking the myth as a metaphor to reflect on one of the last decade’s most significant phenomena, Occupy Movement, the sound installation makes a portrait the protest that has spread as a reaction to the economic global crisis and developed mostly on the web. Conceived as a container of voices, the installation simultaneously reproduces 82 audio documents found on the internet, concerning Occupy’s demonstrations that on October 15th 2011 took place in 82 nations and about 950 cities around the world. The juxtaposition and overlapping of the sound fragments creates a cacophony, that leads each track to a void of meaning and induces the spectator to perceive only a chaotic noise of voices, which embodies the collective energy of the Occupy Movement.
